Globe Temperature
WBGT heat stress sensor.
The Globe Temperature sensor is an accessory to the ClimaTrax 2 for monitoring wet bulb globe temperature. It monitors WBGT, heat stress Index, humidex values, ambient air temperature, relative humidity, pressure, air density, and dew point values.
- Accurate wet bulb globe temperature readings indoors and outdoors
- The IP65 enclosure is rated to withstand tough environments
- Precision WBGT sensor with sensitive 6" copper globe
- Connects to other devices on the network with Modbus RTU

Features
Modbus Ready
Easily connects to other devices on the network for seamless environmental heat stress monitoring.
Setpoint lights
Protect workers from heat exhaustion or heat stroke by setting coloured setpoints on the device to indicate work rest intervals.
Easy Installation
The Globe Temperature comes preassembled for easy installation. Just plug-in and monitor!
Multiple variables
ClimaTrax 2 + Globe Temperature monitors multiple variables like wet bulb globe temperature and heat stress in real time.

Heat Stress Monitoring
Harsh mining environments have the potential to expose workers to extreme heat that could result in occupational injuries or illness. Heat stress is dangerous and it’s important for companies to follow health and safety guidelines to keep workers safe. ClimaTrax 2 + Globe Temperature sensor accurately warns workers visually of changing heat stress levelsin 5 different ranges so that the proper actions can be taken.

Keeping Workers Safe
When workers are exposed to hot environments, this can be both unproductive and unhealthy. When working in mines, temperatures can become quite hot. Exposure to hot and humid environments puts workers at risk of heat exhaustion and heat stroke. It is important to monitor these conditions to ensure workers remain safe. The chart shows the humidex rating based on temperature and relative humidity.
